Cathay Pacific Cooperates with Health Authorities on Confirmed Case of Influenza A (H1N1)

The Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China announced on May 31 that a passenger on Cathay Pacific flight CX134 from Melbourne to Hong Kong (May 30 departure) with a connecting flight from Hong Kong to Hangzhou on the same day has since tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1).
Cathay Pacific Airways can confirm that the passenger on CX134 arrived at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) at 15:21 Hong Kong time on May 30. A total of 224 passengers, three cockpit crew and 10 cabin crew were on board the flight.
Cathay Pacific will comply with requests from health authorities to provide details of the passengers and the operation crew manifest to determine if medical follow-up is necessary.
