Dragonair Celebrates Senior Citizen's Day with Special Fares for The Elderly
Oct. 30, 2009
To celebrate Senior Citizen's Day on November 15, Dragonair will once again offer senior citizens in Hong Kong and Macau a special 20 per cent discount on Economy Class and Business Class tickets to a number of popular destinations.
This is the third consecutive year for the airline to offer special discounts to the elderly to mark Senior Citizen's Day, and many eligible seniors have taken advantage of the discounts over the past few years to enjoy a special holiday. Last year, for example, Mr Tang, aged 76, made good use of the offer by going to Shanghai to enjoy a hairy crab feast with old friends.
The 2009 seniors' promotion includes many of Dragonair's most popular regional destinations, including Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Hangzhou and Phuket. Dragonair has also worked together with a number of Hong Kong travel agents to provide special offers on selected group tours and hotel packages.
All Hong Kong and Macau residents aged 65 or over can enjoy a 20 percent discount on published or market fares for Economy Class and Business Class tickets to selected Dragonair destinations. Tickets must be issued between November 2 and 16, 2009, for travel between November 2, 2009, and March 31, 2010, with some blackout periods applying over the Christmas and Chinese New Year periods.
Travellers can find out more about the seniors' discount at www.dragonair.com.hk, by calling Dragonair at 3193 2222 in Hong Kong or through their local travel agent.
