The sixth ARJ21 (serial number 106) made by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) landed safely at Shanghai Dachang Airport on Monday afternoon after a two-hour flight, marking the first flight of the regional jet. It is the second ARJ21 to be delivered to launch customer Chengdu Airlines (EU).
The maximum height of the test flight was 28,000 ft, with a maximum speed of 280kt.
Chengdu Airlines is scheduled to take delivery of its first ARJ21 at the end of this year.
