Shanghai Airlines (FM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines (MU), put its first Boeing 767-300 aircraft with an upgraded cabin interior into service on Feb. 11.
The Shanghai-based carrier unveiled its new cabin products on the Boeing 767-300 aircraft, Registration B-2563, aiming to create a more comfortable travel experience for customers.
The 767 aircraft has been converted from a three-class into a two-class configuration - Business Class and Economy Class. The Business Class features 30 lie-flat leather seats in a 2-2-2 layout, allowing customers to have a much wider space.
The color choices made for the 767-300 aircraft interior are great improvements, with brown and cream-brown as its main color scheme.
The airline has also upgraded its in-flight entertainment (IFE) system with a 37-inch LCD screen to replace the old IFE system, offering better entertainment options for customers.
The airline plans to complete the retrofit on five more 767s before July.
In addition to retrofitting its airplanes and upgrading its cabin products, Shanghai Airlines is taking a series of measures to improve its in-flight services.
