China Eastern Plans 13 International Routes in H1

China Eastern Airlines (MU) plans to launch 13 new international services in the first half of this year, according to posts disclosed by its new media platform http://weibo.com/ceayoung.
According to the new route plans, the Shanghai-based carrier expects to launch five international services from its Shanghai base this year, as well as two from Hangzhou to Osaka and Shizuoka in Japan, one from Beijing to Bangkok in Thailand, one from Chengdu to Langkawi in Malaysia, one from Ningbo to Phuket in Thailand, one from Wenzhou to Bangkok, one from Jinan to Seoul in South Korea and one from Guangzhou to Laoag in Philippine.
The destinations of the five Shanghai-outbound services will include Amsterdam, Prague and Madrid in Europe, Brisbane in Oceania and Chicago in North America.
Besides, China Eastern will adjust its Wenzhou-Rome service from current seasonal to regular from January 23.
The airline is scheduled to operate Airbus A320, A330, Boeing 738 and 77W aircraft on the new international routes.

Note: the Shanghai-Brisbane service will be operated during January 16-Feburary 27, 2016.
