First aircraft for Air Guilin, a startup subsidiary of HNA Group, touched down at Guilin Liangjiang International Airport at 12:00 p.m. on March 11 after a two-hour delivery flight from Haikou.
The A319, Registration B-6192, was transferred from another HNA Group affiliate Beijing Capital Airlines.
The aircraft is now grounded at Guilin Airport, with no flight plan available.
Backed with 600 million yuan in initial start-up capital, Air Guilin is a joint venture between Guilin Tourism Development Co. (60%) and HNA Group subsidiary Guilin Aviation Tourism Group (40%). Based at Guilin Liangjiang International Airport, the new airline is licensed for domestic cargo & passenger air transportation business, using Airbus A319 aircraft.
