FlyYeti.com Takes Off for Abu Dhabi

On February 6, FlyYeti.com, Nepal's first low-cost carrier (LCC), launched non-stop service between Kathmandu, the carrier's global hub, and Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital. The airline, which will provide service between the two cities five times per week, recently commenced service to Sharjah, UAE, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The inaugural flight landed at Abu Dhabi Airport on February 6 and was received by the Nepali Ambassador in UAE along officials from FlyYeti.com and Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), the owner and operator of Abu Dhabi International Airport.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, flights will depart Kathmandu at 23:00pm and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 2:25am the following morning. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, flights will depart Abu Dhabi at 3:15am and arrive in Kathmandu at 8:55am.

FlyYeti.com was launched on January 20 in Kathmandu - Nepal's first LCC and Air Arabia's second hub with the aim of providing affordable and convenient service to a broad range of international destinations across South and Central Asia, the Far East, the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent. The carrier expects to announce the launch of service to a range of new destinations in these markets in the near future.
FlyYeti.com is a joint venture between Air Arabia and Yeti Airlines, a leading domestic carrier in Nepal. Air Arabia is applying its successful low-cost business model to the management and operation of FlyYeti.com.
