Travel Advisory: Beijing Airport's Terminal 3 to Start Operation From Feb. 29

Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd., operator of mainland China's busiest international airport, is set to put Beijing Capital International Airport's (BCIA) newly-constructed Terminal 3 into trial operation beginning February 29, 2008, and the company is now urging concerned passengers to contact the relevant airlines to avoid any confusion on which terminal to use, airport sources told CARNOC.com.
BCIA officials also informed CARNOC.com that the airport's third passenger terminal will begin its operation in two stages - the first stage will see six airlines move their flights and airport operations to T3 on February 29, while another 20 airlines will be the second batch and they are currently scheduled to start operating out of T3 from March 26 this year. However, the "moving plan" shall be considered as guidance only, last-minute adjustments may be made by the airport or relevant airline without further notice.
