Heavy Fog Hits East China's Shandong, Delaying Flights

Heavy fog moved into the eastern province of Shandong overnight, delaying flights on March 12, a local official said.
Jinan International Airport in the provincial capital was still closed at midday on March 12, the official said.
The fog delayed 22 flights and three others were canceled, the official said.
The fog interrupted a string of clear weather on March 11, the official said. Heavy fog covered southwest and central Shandong while light fog drifted into other areas.
The fog is expected to last till night, the official said.
