China's aviation authorities will step up security measures to ensure flight safety ahead of and during this Summer's Beijing Olympic Games.
China's General Administration of Civil Aviation (CAAC) has released a statement that forbids passengers taking domestic flights from bringing liquids on board into the cabin. Further details on this ban will be issued shortly.
Meanwhile, current easy-boarding VIP services which allow passengers to pay for priority boarding are set to be cancelled. Aviation authorities say the new moves aim to guarantee passenger safety, a top priority for both airlines and airports.
