Chongqing Jiangbei Airport T3A Terminal's Construction Completion has been Inspected and Accepted

Chongqing Jiangbei Airport Group revealed on April 19 that, Chongqing Jiangbei Airport T3A Terminal's completion has been inspected and accepted, and this terminal is predicted to be put into use in June.
It is reported that the expansion project of Chongqing Jiangbei Airport includes building a 3800-meters-long runway, a T3A terminal covers 0.53 million square meters and supporting facilities. Chongqing Jiangbei Airport would have terminals that cover 0.7 million square meters, three runways and 200 parking lots after T3A terminal being put into use. This airport would be able to transport an annual passenger traffic of 45 million and accommodate the largest aircraft of A380.
The new T3A terminal has a total of 176 flight slots, 312 check-in counters and 137 boarding gates. 16 automated customs clearance channels and 15 manned channels would be offered to release the previous congestion problems in international terminals.
According to the introduction from Chongqing Airport's staff, all airlines(except that Sichuan Airlines, West Air and China Express would stay in T2A) and international flights in T1 would be transferred to T3A terminal. The Airport Group would arrange shuttle bus between T2A terminal and T3A terminal to pick up passengers. It takes about 10 minutes to move from T2A terminal to T3A terminal.
