Travel Advisory: Air China Waives Commission Charge Due to Earthquake in Sichuan

Due to the earthquake in Wenchuan County in the Sichuan Province, China, on May 12, 2008, Air China will waive the commission charge for ticket changes or refunds for eligible passengers.
This would apply on tickets to Chengdu and nine other cities or on tickets that have itineraries involving these destinations. Details are as follows:
- Applicable time period: Starting on May 12, 2008, until further notice.
- Applicable routes: Chengdu, Chongqing, Jiuzhai, Mianyang, Yibin, Xichang, Panzhihua, Luzhou, Dazhou and Wanxian operated by Air China as well as Air China passenger tickets that have itineraries involving these destinations.
To get a ticket change or refund, passengers should go through travel agencies authorized by Air China or Air China sales offices.
Please note that the traffic and communications interruption in some regions due to the earthquake may impact the speed of handling the ticket change or refund. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
