Regular Flights to Link Guilin and Kuala Lumpur
Aug. 02, 2008
A regular flight linking Guilin, a tourist city in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia, will be launched next month, according to the Guilin Liangjiang International Airport.
The maiden flight will be kicked off on September 3, and tickets will be sold at the Thailand-based AirAsia website, with lowest price about 200 yuan (about US$28.6).
The flight, with Airbus 320 as its carrier, will take off every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The Guilin-Kuala Lumpur flight started five years before as charter flights with no set timetable. The direct flight, managed by AirAsia, is the fourth international flight of Guilin, next to that linking Bangkok, Seoul and Osaka.
