CAAC Issues Air Transportation Policy for The Disabled During 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games

As the world is watching the Games in excitement, Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the country's civil aviation watchdog, has issued a temporary air transportation policy for individuals with a disability to ensure all necessary and corrective procedures have been carried out in day-to-day operations accordingly.
Sources told CARNOC.com that the policy was introduced to guarantee the air transportation of travellers with disabilities during Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games in terms of flight safety, ticket reservation, check-in, security check, boarding and de-boarding, in-flight and arrival services, and the smooth transportation of luggage, sport instruments, aided facilities and service dogs etc.
