Cathay Pacific, Dragonair Announce Special Ticketing Arrangement Due to Typhoon Nuri

As a result of Typhoon Nuri, with immediate effect, all rebooking / rerouting charges will be waived for all tickets involving Hong Kong issued worldwide (of all fare types) on or before August 21, 2008, for travel between August 22 and August 23, 2008.

Cathay Pacific / Dragonair Tickets
1. Cancellation / Refund / Rerouting: No waiver on cancellation or refund charges.
2. Rebooking Charges Will Be Waived on Conditions Below:
- Such requests are made on / before August 23, 2008, and before departure, for travelling to / from Hong Kong between August 22 and August 23, 2008.
- No-show passenger is not eligible for the waiver.
- Subject to availability, revised (new) travel date must fall within 1 week from the original flight. The ticket expiry date will thereby be adjusted accordingly.
- The newly rebooked sector must observe and conform to the conditions of the respective fare rule, e.g. black-out dates, flight application, weekend / weekday travel, stopover charges, and applicable seasonalities by collecting additional / refunding difference (if any) as appropriate.
- Re-issuance charges will only be waived due to the expiry of the original ticket.

Frequent Flyer Programme Tickets
1. Cancellation / Refund: No waiver on cancellation or refund charges.
2. Rebooking / Re-routing: Rebooking and re-routing charges will be waived.
