JAL to Abolish Two International Services Between Japan and China
Sep. 05, 2008
Japan Airlines Corp said Sep. 4 that it will abolish two additional international passenger flights on Oct. 26 in an effort to cushion the effects of rising fuel costs.
JAL said the two flights are between Japan and China - Kansai International Airport in the Osaka area and Qingdao, and Narita International Airport near Tokyo and Xi'an.
The Japanese carrier said it has been abolishing and reducing both domestic and international flights to weather the soaring fuel prices, bringing the total number of routes affected by the move to 21.
