Boost for Passengers with New Dragonair Mobile Check-in Service

On January 21, Dragonair announced the launch of its latest self-service function, Mobile Check-in, which further simplifies the travel process and gives passengers even more control over their journey through their mobile devices.
By accessing the new mobile site, m.dragonair.com, Dragonair passengers can check-in for their flights at any time - and from any location with wireless access to the Internet - using their Internet-enabled mobile phone or other handheld devices. Offering the full functionality of the Online Check-in facility used on personal computers, the new mobile function allows passengers to check in and select their preferred seats on the aircraft. A barcode is then sent to their mobile device which can be scanned at the Self Check-in Kiosks at the airport, where available, to print a boarding pass.
Passengers can simply visit m.dragonair.com and click onto the "Check-in" link in order to launch Mobile Check-in. Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles members can also log-in under the "Personal Itinerary" section on the mobile site to begin the check-in process.
Passengers using either Online Check-in or Mobile Check-in and travelling without check-in baggage can proceed directly through Immigration upon arrival at airport, saving the inconvenience of lining up at the regular check-in counters. Those with check-in baggage can proceed to the Self Check-in Bag Drop counters at the airport.
With the launch of Mobile Check-in, Dragonair now offers passengers a "total travel solution" through its Online Booking facility, Online Check-in, Self Check-in Kiosks, the recently launched Self Print Boarding Pass function, and now the Mobile Site and Mobile Check-in services. The airline will continue to develop new products and services that help to make travel more convenient and journeys easier to manage.
