Malaysia Airlines to Serve New Inflight Cuisine During Chinese New Year

Malaysia Airlines will roll out its new Chinese cuisine during the Chinese New Year celebrations on its flights to mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan.
The new Chinese menu will include cuisines like pan fried silver cod, yong chow fried rice, stir-fried noodles and Chinese congee, depending on the actual meal cycles applicable on each flight, the Malaysian national carrier said on Jan. 22.
The new Chinese menu was conceptualized and developed as joint effort between Malaysia Airlines and LSG Sky Chefs, with chefs specially flown in from Hong Kong SAR and Chengdu, it said.
Malaysia Airlines currently operates 82 flights per week to mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan.
The airline hopes it could meet its customer expectations through this initiative.
